Osterferien 24 Tag 7

Metz

(english below)

Tja, was soll ich sagen.

Metz
Well, what can I say.
Do you want Insta Reality or the truth?
Insta Reality: Oh wow, France was so great, I'm so full of wonderful impressions that I'm already full and going home happy.
Warning: Reading on could destroy the happy Insta Reality.

You can still stop...

Truth: I couldn't shake off the demons, even though it looked like I'd left them behind on the hike yesterday. I did my very best, but walking alone was not feasible this time, even if the surroundings were totally beautiful; palm trees, sun, blue sky, warmth, landscape and sea. That's why I drove as far as I could back home today and if I had wanted to lose weight, the trip would have been a complete success. But I didn't want to. Nevertheless, it would have been even worse at home, I experienced something and am richer in impressions. I lived on a garbage dump, saw imitations of Versailles, went kitesurfing twice in the Mediterranean and went on a very nice hike. I no longer perceive my condition as being as threatening as I used to and can deal with it better and know what work follows. I've also learned that Hyeres is a great place to kite and camp during the Easter vacations and maybe one day I'll find someone to go kiting with again. It's much more fun together.
That's why I'm only taking pictures from the bus today.
Palm trees and a blue sky - sh*** it's beautiful!

Yeah, I know, the photo is less in the sand than it was in reality. Think of it as 74 times more beautiful. Funny, isn't it, the little play on words?

And, apopro's choice of foreign language for 7th grade: I never needed Spanish, but I did need a lot of French, not that I had the choice back then, but I would have needed Latin even less. My plea is very clear: choose French, even if it doesn't seem so cool.

And a special thanks to Meike.
